About Kelsey

writer, editor, content strategist, entrepreneur

My roots are on a farm in north central Montana, where my family still lives and where I got my start writing, crafting a monthly handwritten newsletter for family and friends as an elementary student.

Through years of hard work, I’ve earned my dream job: I’m a business owner who happens to write, edit and teach others, covering travel and wellness for national publications and coaching publicists and other writers on how to do the same. My work isn’t just about telling stories and running Zoom calls, however — it’s about making an impact.

I spend my mornings writing, afternoons interviewing and evenings brainstorming, dreaming and scheming up new ways to make the media industry better. I couldn’t do it without my supportive family, kitty Monty, piles of Moleskines, pink pens and a pantry full of peanut butter. In my downtime, I love to bake, golf, decorate our historic home and go on long walks.
